I've been to both places several times before they merged. First time here today and the food continues to be tasty, the service good, and love the convenience. Several people in line ahead of me, for me a good sign it's worth the wait. Had a lemongrass pork Bahn Mi and the soy garlic wings, to go. Came out pretty fast for a small place and really tasty. Adding it to my list...

I've enjoyed the food at Ko Ja three times in a week with the help from DoorDash. I would always order the Short Rib Bowl with extra meat, add Kim Chee and Furikake white rice. The meat is tender and delicious. I like portion size as it also is on a bed of mixed green salad. Looking forward to stopping by for an in restaurant experience:)

I have been a customer since food truck days. I waited for months for the first store to open in Berkeley while working at CAL. When Fremont finally opened, it had been my go to often. While the menu has expanded, my go to is original Koja and the pork rice bowl. The pork koja is too juicy and runny when in the Koja.

I got the Ahi Tuna Salad which was $15.75 and the Soy Garlic Wings which was $10.95. The salad was so refreshing; it had tuna, masago, spring mix, spring salad, seaweed salad, wasabi Mayo & green onion. It was a pretty big portion & I wasn't able to finish it. The wings was sooo savory, love the soy garlic sauce that's drizzled all over the wings. It was very sticky so I recommend using a fork

Food is always good i've ordered it a handful of times. For a super modern take out quick making food it's pretty authentic solid creative food. The menu is stocked with great items and has such a customizable experience. I went there for the first time and the staff were incredibly nice and my order came out in under 5 minutes. Honestly a top 5 place on clement

First time since they moved to this location. I went with the Ahi Tuna Salad - mixed greens topped with crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, and spicy ahi. Everything tasted pretty fresh and it was quite filling.

Perfect place for a delicious lunch, quick take out etc. Small space with limited seating in and out but the food makes it all worthwhile. Japanese/ Korean Asian fusion with super fresh ingredients, friendly staff and prompt service. We had Ahi tuna bowls that were delicious, fresh ingredients, nicely sauced, including seaweed salad and a crazy good imitation crab salad. Nice that they offer both brown and white rice.

Delicious fusion food! My favorite was the Umami Fries; probably the best fries I've ever had. The Koja was dry and not my cup of tea; the garlic rice was hard to eat. I still think the Kojas are worth a try though! The bowls were very delicious. I would totally come here again just for the Umami Fries; the pork on it was to die for. The ordering process was a little confusing as I didn't know we had to go the cashier to order, but it wasn't difficult to figure out. Solid restaurant!
